I first started writing when I was little.
I distinctly remember spending my time in class, or after school at my family's restaurant, filling up journals and yellow legal pads with stories, thoughts, and ideas.
I had a dream of one day writing the cover story for Rolling Stone. I started by writing album reviews for my high school newspaper and later continued writing for my college paper, The Oracle. While I don't review music anymore, I still love digging into new albums and creating playlists.
Apart from my day job, I'm a freelance writer based in Nashville, TN. I specialize in cultural and community features, with a history of covering events, interviewing musicians, and reporting on "bookish" news.
Currently: I cover Nashville's vibrant literary culture for The Nashville Scene, focusing on the local book community, from author signings and small business bookstore pop-ups to city-wide book club profiles.

I've self-published two newsletters: wtf is self-care, which explored wellness and self-care, and six by six, which chronicled the first part of my nomad journey in 2021.
Previously, I wrote for the NBC 6 South Florida - Latin Beats blog, covering the local music scene, and contributed city guides and travel tips for MIA Connections. A few of my other past outlets are no longer in circulation, including Culture Crusaders and Wasabi Fashion Kult.
I'm open to writing about all things bookish, perfume, wellness, and the best hidden gems in Nashville.
